Ready to Push: A guide to birthing your vision

Lannea Speaks Presents -

In this workshop I use my experience as a birth doula and translate it to the process that it takes to help women go from the conception of their vision and dreams to what it takes to birth it into existence.

Workshop includes a Ready to Push Guide sheet and vision board exercises.

From Lannea - "like so many other women, I've allowed life, procrastination, trauma and other priorities stop me from birthing my programs, books and purpose. 2019 is a year of birthing for me and I want to help as many women as possible get out of their own way and equip themselves with the tools that will help them keep pushing until they push that baby out!"

Media Minded: The Black Panther Party & Media

We've all witnessed the harm that media can cause for Black and brown people. How our children are represented, our homes and communities are depicted - how justice is skirted using the powerful tool of media.

The Coalition for Racial Justice in Media is joined with Brother Khalid Raheem who will be co-facilitating this meetup to explore his experience as a Black Panther during a time when they recognized how harmful and violent the media could be toward Black and brown communities and moved to put an end to it.

They started the work, but it did not end there. How can we build on the efforts of the Black Panther Party? It's time we move forward.
